Today is Friday, January 15, 2026 — Let’s see how long it is before I do another post on this damnable blog. Will it be one day? Two? An hour? Nobody knows. and I don’t think anybody really cares all that much. I do know that we have one of these low dams at the river where I live and I know that if you get swept over it when the water is high, the chances of you surviving the undertow at the base of the damn is pretty much zero — I have lived long enough to hear about at least 10 people killed by that dam where i live.
